Kadwa Twins Henna
We, Amreen and Farheen of Kadwa Twins’ Henna, are 21-year-old twin sisters who share the love and talent of henna art, and are always looking to spread this love in our communities with people of all backgrounds. Henna is an art from 5000 years old that has been practiced in North Africa, South-east Asia, and the Middle East. Our natural henna paste is made by a local elder in the community and is composed of crushed dried leaves from the Lawsonia plant, sugar, lemon water, eucalyptus and tea tree oil. Henna stains into your skin and leaves a red-brown stain for 1-2 weeks when taken care of well. Caring procedures include keeping the paste on for at least 4 hours, applying coconut oil on the stain, and avoiding direct contact with water. Different groups that indulge in the art of henna have different cultural significances. Ask us to learn more or to get your henna done!
